I got flowers.
I opened a P.O. Box in my name for all future mail.
I miss my twin, and though there's no words I can say, I hope she knows she's in my every thought.
I sent home-baked cookies and brownies to Iraq.
It's been 4 yrs, and it's gonna be okay :).
I washed my hair, and wore new clothes.
I'm a day away from spending a weekend in New Mexico with friends.
I got calls from family in PR, my favorite aunts and uncles.
I'm gonna have cheesecake...well, a little bit.
I'll tell you how the sun rose, --
A ribbon at a time.
The steeples swam in amethyst,
The news like squirrels ran.
The hills untied their bonnets,
The hills untied their bonnets,
The bobolinks begun.
Then I said softly to myself,
"That must have been the sun!"

But how he set, I know not.

But how he set, I know not.
There seemed a purple stile
Which little yellow boys and girls
Were climbing all the while
Till when they reached the other side,
Till when they reached the other side,
A dominie in gray
Put gently up the evening bars,
And led the flock away.
